Terms of Service

Last updated: September 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of Briefr. By connecting a mailbox and using the app, you agree to them.

1. The Service

Briefr reads recent messages from mailboxes you connect (Gmail, Microsoft/Outlook, and IMAP accounts) and organizes them into a daily briefing. Briefr can send email on your behalf only when you explicitly tap send inside the app.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of the accounts you connect to Briefr and for any activity that occurs through your use of the app. Connect only mailboxes you're authorized to access.

3. Acceptable Use

Don't use Briefr to violate any law, to access mailboxes you don't have authorization to access, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

4. No Invented Urgency

Briefr is designed to assist your judgment, not replace it. Categorizations and summaries are provided to help you triage faster, but Briefr is not liable for decisions made based on its output — always review a message yourself before treating an absence of flagging as certainty.

5. Data & Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

6. Termination

You may stop using Briefr and disconnect your mailboxes at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Briefr is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briefr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app before taking effect.
